Linux System Administrator (m/f) – Pardubice

• administration, maintenance and supervision of servers and Linux operating systems
• monitoring operational parameters and availability of systems and services
• Linux infrastructure and application management, documentation of changes
• Collaboration with colleagues in the team, across IT departments and with managers

What do we expect from you?

• Completed secondary or higher education (ideally in IT or another technical field)
• knowledge of scripting (e.g. Bash, Python)
• knowledge of networks and TCP/IP (particularly the DNS, DHCP, HTTP/S and SMTP protocols, etc.)
• experience with KVM-based virtualisation
• experience with containerisation (e.g. Docker, Podman)
• experience in managing web servers and reverse proxies (e.g. Apache, NginX, etc.)
• experience with MySQL database server administration (MariaDB)
• experience in monitoring systems and applications
• knowledge of systems automation (configuration management)
• advanced level English
• general overview of IT technologies
• the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively as part of a team

The following experience or knowledge would be an advantage for you:

• Application management and deployment in Kubernetes
• administration of PostgreSQL database servers
• Load balancing (e.g. LVS, HAProxy, Keepalived)
• DNS system administration (e.g. Bind, Knot DNS)
• mail server administration (e.g. Postfix)
• system configuration using Ansible
