
Linux System Administrator (m/f) – Pardubice
We are currently looking for a new partner for the position of IT Systems Engineer with a focus on Linux. Do you know how to script, understand containers, SQL databases, enjoy technology and like working in a team? Then read on - we might be looking for you!

What's in store for you?
- administration, maintenance and supervision of servers and Linux operating systems
- monitoring operational parameters and availability of systems and services
- Linux infrastructure and application management, documentation of changes
- Collaboration with colleagues in the team, across IT departments and with managers
What do we expect from you?
- Completed secondary or higher education (ideally in IT or another technical field)
- knowledge of scripting (e.g. Bash, Python)
- knowledge of networks and TCP/IP (particularly the DNS, DHCP, HTTP/S and SMTP protocols, etc.)
- experience with KVM-based virtualisation
- experience with containerisation (e.g. Docker, Podman)
- experience in managing web servers and reverse proxies (e.g. Apache, NginX, etc.)
- experience with MySQL database server administration (MariaDB)
- experience in monitoring systems and applications
- knowledge of systems automation (configuration management)
- advanced level English
- general overview of IT technologies
- the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively as part of a team
The following experience or knowledge would be an advantage for you:
- Application management and deployment in Kubernetes
- administration of PostgreSQL database servers
- Load balancing (e.g. LVS, HAProxy, Keepalived)
- DNS system administration (e.g. Bind, Knot DNS)
- mail server administration (e.g. Postfix)
- system configuration using Ansible
